We’ve entered the Chinese Year of the Snake and what does it look like for hair trends?
Well this year we’re seeing strong trend pre towards vibrant colours and more edgy cuts and textures in the styles.
Already this year we’ve noticed some exciting new additions in regards to colours from wig suppliers – Jon Renau, Petite Wig Company to name a couple.
Here’s a little forecast of how we see hair trends to heading this year:

Sharp, Edgy Shag Style
Curtain Layers
Italian Bob
Sharp edgy textured shag blends are back… think Deborah Harry from Blondie!
This look can be achieved with many of the shag wigs available. It’s a very low key looking, chic & playful style.
Stella Star is a great example of this style & is by Jon Renau…This chic style boasts longer hair in the nape, allowing for customizable flair and versatile styling. Made with heat resistant fiber, the Stella Star wig can be easily styled to suit your personal taste. Its low permatease creates a natural look that’s uniquely yours.
The ever flattering and effortlessly stylish curtain face framing style.
With beautiful soft tapered edges that frame your face, this style is always a perfect choice for staying on trend (in any year really!)
We’ve chosen to feature Delta, not yet available but is due for releaes in March 2025 as our example. Delta is a gorgeous long style with beautiful face framing and the perfect amount of layering in her style.
Wow, this is a great little style that offers a chin length very blunt cut.
If you’re looking for edgy, this is the style for you. Check out Cate by the Petite Wig Company for a look at how great this style can be.
Cate is an unsophisticated modern short bob and is a limited release by this company – so if you love her, get in quick before she sells out!

Bronze, Rich Deep Browns , Reds
Making a comeback into the arena of hair fashion is the rich browns and reds.
Make that statement with a Cowboy Copper from Petite Wig Company, this is the colour of the year in our opinion!
Other colours we love and are very on trend for this year include Petite Wig Company’s Tim Tam, Jon Renau’s 6/33 Raspberry Twist.
Don’t be shy to embrace colour this year and rich deep brunette tones.

Warm, delicious buttery blondes
Jon Renau’s Californian influenced shade of FS24 /102S12 Laguna Blonde,
This is the perfect representation of this trend, offering a luminous and dimensional finish.
Think lovely warm tones and sunlit hues, these are lovely blonde colours which uplift any complexion.
Lots of great colours and styles to explore for 2025. The wave styling remains constant with the beach wave as a the leading preferred style of wave. However the more Hollywood curl with it’s soft flowing waves is also predicted to be huge this year.
Have fun exploring new styles and colours for 2025. This is your year to really shine and embrace bold.

Great news for wig wearers… the fringe is back on trend.
Why is it good news for wig wearers? Well, it means that you don’t have to worry too much about whether your wig cap is a lace front or not as the fringe covers the front area of the wig, making it hard to detect whether it’s a wig or not.
Fringes are a most flattering option suiting most face shapes. Maybe it’s time for you to think about having a fringe again?
